community garden security

One of the concerns of our budding garden committee was how to secure the garden from damage by animals and people. Myself and Una mentioned that other groups had tried to engage young people to ensure their ownership of the garden, also to provide a site by the gate that is a "free to take" place to stop people pillaging the main garden! We would intend using developmental methods regarding the garden in the community but would be interested if others have ideas around this, particuarly around rabbits and horses! Liz Ballybeg
